Upon your arrival at the airport, you’ll be greeted by your experienced guide, who will also act as your driver throughout your time in the Scottish Highlands. From there, your journey continues through the breathtaking Scottish countryside, where rolling hills, shimmering lochs, and rugged ridge-lines set the stage for what’s to come. By late afternoon, you’ll arrive in Glencoe and settle into your accommodation for the next few days. Today, you will head out with your guide to explore some of the history and trails that are on offer in Glencoe. Stop off at the Glencoe visitor centre to dive into the legend and myth surrounding the area, learning about it’s historical significance and how it has helped to shape Scotland as it is today.
You could choose to take a short hike to the spot, according to legend, where the signal was given to being the Glencoe Massacre in 1692, or visit the lost valley, where it is said the Macdonald clan used to hide their cattle. Speak with your guide about the best options to ensure that you get the most out of your time in Scotland.

After a leisurely breakfast, meet your guide and set out for another day of exploration in this captivating region. Your first stop is the iconic Glenfinnan Monument, standing proudly overlooking the breathtaking Loch Shiel. This historic landmark pays tribute to those who lost their lives during the Jacobite Uprising and offers a glimpse into Scotland’s rich and tumultuous past. Nearby, take in the beauty of the Glenfinnan Viaduct, famously featured in the Harry Potter films. This striking railway bridge is where the Hogwarts Express famously crosses en route to Hogwarts, making it a must-see for fans and history lovers alike. If you time it right, you might even get the chance to see the famous train crossing the viaduct on its morning journey.
In the afternoon, return to Fort William, where you’ll have the opportunity to visit a local museum. Here, delve deeper into the history of the Highlands and the stories of the people who have called this region home. Afterwards, enjoy some time to explore the town at your own pace—browse charming Highland shops, or relax at a cozy café with a coffee and a slice of cake.
Following this, head to a local pub, settle in with your favourite drink and hear mythical and legendary tales of the past in warm and cozy surroundings as a local storyteller delves into the magic of Glencoe!

This morning, after breakfast, you will bid farewell to Glencoe and the Scottish highlands, and head south with your guide. You will make your way through Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park towards Glengoyne Distillery. Here you will get the chance to dive into the history and craft that goes into Scotland’s most famous drink. This experience will culminate with a chance to sample some of Glengoyne’s collection and see how they pair with some artisan truffles, created by a local chocolatier.
Next stop, is your final destination for the trip, and the capital of Scotland, Edinburgh. This evening, it’s time for a hands on experience, getting to grips with the Scottish larder! You’ll get the chance to learn about Scottish cooking, before putting some of your new found skills and knowledge to the test, creating your own classic Scottish dish. This immersive experience is create for food enthusiasts looking to learn about Scotland’s cuisine.
Your guide will take you to your city centre hotel, before bidding their farewells, leaving you with memories of the highland’s to last a lifetime.

This morning immerse yourselves in the winding cobbled streets of historic Old Town Edinburgh as you enjoy a private walking tour with an expert local guide. Discover the highlights of this unique capital city from the Palace of Holyroodhouse all the way up the ‘Royal Mile’ to the mighty ancient fortress which is Edinburgh Castle itself. Walk the ramparts atop castle rock and hear the tales of the One O’Clock gun and the stories of locals of times past. Your guide will leave you here so that you can spend as much time in the castle as you wish.
You then have a free afternoon to continue explorations at your own pace, pick up souvenirs or relax as you prefer. You could head out for a final meal on Scottish soil and share a toast to the memories of the trip.
