Overview

Head out on an unforgettable journey through Scotland, as you drive yourself through stunning scenery and along amazing country roads. Take part in thrilling activities along the way as you get to experience once in a lifetime activities that will be sure to leave a lasting memory. Head off road in 4×4 Land Rovers tackling the best terrain Scotland has to offer, before getting a chance to explore The Cairngorms National Park on both four wheels and two as you explore hidden trails and visit beautiful locations! Sample and learn about Scotland’s favourite drink as you head for a private tour of a local distillery.

As you head south, step aboard your private speed boat and fly around Scotland’s most famous Loch, Loch Ness. Continue on to explore some of Scotland’s west coast by sea kayak with an experienced and qualified guide. Final stop, the Capital of Scotland. Explore the hidden streets and spend some time exploring this magical city on your final day.

Day by Day

Day 1 - Sunday 20th April - Welcome to Scotland

On arrival at the airport you will collect your rental cars and head straight out of the city. First stop on your Scottish adventure is the famous and imposing Stirling Castle. Standing tall above the city, this is a source of immense national pride due to it’s significance within the countries history. Take some time to explore this ancient fortress and enjoy the stunning views on offer.

From here, continue north towards your accommodation for the next few days and a chance to relax at your accommodation.

Day 2 - Monday 21st April - Get Off-Road in a 4x4 Land Rover

Today, you will get the chance to try your hand at some serious off-road driving. Head out in a special Land Rover and tackle all kinds of terrain, from river crossings to uphill stretches, this exhilarating half-day experience is sure to quench your need for speed and driving. You’ll head out in two vehicles to ensure everyone gets a chance to be hands-on, all under the expert guidance of a qualified instructor to help you along the way.

The rest of the day is yours to play with. Head out for more local explorations, or simple spend some more time in the charming town of Pitlochry.

Day 3 - Tuesday 22nd April - Quad Biking in The Cairngorms

Today you head north into The Cairngorms and a chance to hit some more off road trails. First, you will meet your guide for the next few days in Scotland in the charming highland town of Aviemore, before journeying together towards forest trails. Hop onto you quad bike and head off with an experienced and qualified guide to explore some of the trails in the area.

Following this, you will continue on north in convoy with your guide towards your accommodation for the next few days just north of Inverness. Settle in and take some time to relax ahead of the next days explorations.

Day 4 - Wednesday 23rd April - A Day Hike and Scotland's Favourite Drink

After breakfast, meet your guide in the foyer of your hotel and be ready to hike. Options are available depending on how you feel, but some close by hikes include:

  • Monadh Mor woods – this 7.1km circuit takes you through woodland on an easy low level path. This circular route takes roughly 1hr 45 mins to complete.
  • Loch Glass – This much longer 16km walk is an out and back along the south shore of Loch Glass. A mostly flat walk, considered a moderate walk due to its length – expect to take around 4hr 30 mins to complete the walk.

These are just two options within the area. Speak with your guide about the other options on offer to you.

This afternoon, it is time to dive into Scotland’s most famous drink, Whisky. Head to a local distillery and enjoy a private tour around the facility, enjoying a chance to taste some of the product created in this location. No visit to Scotland would be complete without this experience.

Day 5 - Thursday 24th April - Adventures on Two Wheels

Today is all about exploring on two wheels. Together with your guide you will head into The Cairngorms once more to explore hidden trails and find your way to glistening lochs nestled amongst the Scots Pine. This full day experience will show you some of the very best the area has to offer. Enjoy a lovely picnic lunch next to a loch, before continuing on for more explorations along the way.

Following this, your guide will bid their farewells as they depart. Head back to your accommodation for the evening and enjoy some time to relax.

Day 6 - Friday 25th April - Loch Ness and the Valley of Glencoe

After breakfast, you will head south, following the road along Scotlands most famous Loch, Loch Ness. Stop off in the charming town of Fort Augustus, and jump aboard your a private RIB for the chance to truly experience speed. Hold on tight as you are whisked around the loch, taking in the sights and feeling the fresh Scottish wind rush past you. This is a truly exhilarating experience for lovers of speed.

Continue on into the beautiful valley of Glencoe. Often regarded as one of Scotland’s most beautiful locations, enjoy a scenic drive as you move through the rugged peaks, alongside shimmering rivers. You accommodation for the next few days is nestled right in the midst of the valley offering you stunning views in every direction.

Day 7 - Saturday 26th April - Road to the Isles and Sea Explorations

Today is all about adventure and there is no better way to kick start this than a journey along one of Scotland’s most beautiful roads. Referred to as the “Road to the Isles” this route takes you past many a famous landmark. Take in the Glenfinnan monument, Glenfinnan Viadct, Loch Shiel and rugged ridge lines that frame the drive. Upon reaching Arisaig, it is time to venture out onto the sea. Led by an experienced and qualified guide, you will head out in sea kayak’s to explore some of the beautiful west coast sea line. For those that are extremely lucky, you may even bump into some wildlife (wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed).

Day 8 - Sunday 27th April - The Capital and the Streets Below

Today you head further south towards your final stop of the trip and the capital of Scotland, Edinburgh. Here you will return your rental car, before a private transfer takes you to your city centre hotel. Settle in and drop off your bags before getting the chance to step beneath the streets of Edinburgh for a private tour of the forgotten passages ways that lay below. You will learn about what life was like for the people that called this location home and get chance to truly explore the passages ways that exist.

Day 9 - Monday 28th April - Self Exploration of Edinburgh

Today you will have a full day to explore Edinburgh at your own pace.
