This morning your private driver will meet you at your hotel and together you will head north. Stop to discover mighty Stirling castle, with imposing battlements looking out from the clifftops. Known for its role in Scotland’s turbulent history it has many tales to tell. This is where the World’s Oldest Football was discovered, thought to be hidden by Mary Queen of Scots behind wood paneling to keep it safe from witchcraft.
Then continue onwards to the stunning scenery of Glencoe. These dramatic mountains and ridges have featured as the backdrop in many films and once you are looking up at these summits it is easy to see why! Soak in the atmosphere and views. Afterwards maybe stop for a celebratory beverage in a traditional climbers pub before continuing onwards to your welcoming hotel in Fort William.

Today you will enjoy superb views as you drive west along the stunning Road to the Isles, this is frequently listed as one of the most beautiful drives in the world and it is easy to see why. Maybe take a stroll on the white sand beaches of Arisaig and soak in the views of the Small Isles before you carry on. At the small fishing town of Mallaig you board the afternoon ferry for the short trip over the sea to Skye and onwards to your hotel.

Returning to the mainland this morning, by way of the graceful Skye bridge, it is not long before you see one of the prettiest castles in Scotland. Take your time here to explore and enjoy the iconic view before continuing onwards through mountain glens.
On arrival at Loch Ness set out onto the deep secretive waters and enjoy a scenic cruise, keeping your eyes open for ‘Nessie’ herself. Then continue to a warm welcome at your accommodation in Inverness.

Today you head south back to Edinburgh. Stop off to explore the huge open air site of the Highland Folk Museum and relive history in its painstakingly recreated buildings. This fascinating 80 acre site has over 30 dwellings “frozen in time” from the early 1700s to the mid 1900s so that you can experience the details of Highland life as it was back then. It has been a filming location for many popular movies and series.
Stop to visit the splendours of elegant Scone Palace, once the crowning place of Scottish Kings and Queens. Stroll the beautiful gardens and explore the unique Murray Star Maze before you continue onwards to Edinburgh.
