Day by Day

Day 1 - Friday 7th February - Welcome to Scotland and The Isle of Lewis

On arrival into the Isle of Lewis, you will be met by your experienced guide, who will also act as your driver for some of your time in Scotland. From here, you will head for your accommodation in the islands main town, Stornoway. Depending on your time of arrival, relax at your accommodation or head out and explore what the town has to offer.

Day 2 - Saturday 8th February - Horse Riding Along White Sand Beaches

This morning, after your first Scottish breakfast, head out with your guide to explore some of the stunning scenery available on this remarkable Hebridean island. Head for the coast and tackle a 6km hike to Dalmore Beach and on to Dalbeg Beach. This guided 6km walk is a great way to take in some of the isles spectacular coastline.

In the afternoon, treat yourself to a private beach experience that promises serenity and enchantment. Saddle up for an unforgettable horseback ride along one of Lewis’s famed beaches. Feel the gentle rhythm of the horse beneath you as the waves lap softly against the shore, the sea breeze brushes your face, and the sound of hoofbeats mingles with the ocean’s melody—a truly peaceful and magical way to connect with the island’s tranquil beauty.

Day 3 - Sunday 9th February - Over the Sea to the Isle of Skye

This morning, meet your guide and journey south to the charming town of Tarbert on the Isle of Harris. Here, you’ll board the iconic island ferry to the magical Isle of Skye. As you sail across the shimmering seas, take in the stunning views of rugged coastlines and distant islands, and perhaps catch a glimpse of seabirds or playful dolphins. Arrive in the village of Uig, where the island’s enchanting beauty begins to reveal itself.

From Uig, continue to your accommodation, nestled in Skye’s breathtaking landscapes. Take some time to unwind and settle in, or head out for a relaxing walk with your guide to stretch your legs and embrace the island’s serene atmosphere—a perfect start to your Skye adventure.

Day 4 - Monday 10th February - Guided Explorations on the Isle of Skye

Today you have a full day to explore some of the special corners of this magical island with your guide. You will be spoilt for choice with fascinating history and dramatic landscape on offer, with unique hiking routes through stark and unusual rock formations and sweeping coast and mountain views to enjoy in almost every direction. This ‘misty isle’ is also home to so many curious stories and legends of fairies and islander culture, your guide will share some of the best hidden gems and personalise the day to your interests.

Day 5 - Tuesday 11th February - Leaving the Island's Behind - Mainland Scotland

This morning, bid farewell to the magical islands of Scotland as you journey back to the mainland. Your first stop is the world-famous Loch Ness, where you’ll visit the charming town of Fort Augustus. Here, you’ll board a private RIB boat for an exhilarating tour of the legendary loch. As you glide across its mysterious waters, immerse yourself in tales of the mythical creature said to reside in the depths, all while taking in the breathtaking scenery that surrounds this iconic location.

Next, continue to the majestic Glencoe Valley, a place renowned for its striking natural beauty and profound ties to Scottish history. Depending on the time, you might embark on a scenic walk or visit the historic site where the infamous Glencoe Massacre of 1692 began. Day 6 - Wednesday 12th February - Highland Thrills and Waterfall Wonders

Day 7 - Thursday 13th February - E-Biking Around Glencoe

Today, meet your experienced biking guide and set off on an unforgettable adventure through the vast and rugged landscapes of Glencoe. Equipped with E-Bikes, you’ll hit the trails and venture into some of the area’s lesser-known gems, uncovering hidden corners that few visitors ever see. Whether winding through dense forests, coasting along serene lochs, this experience offers a perfect balance of excitement and connection to the great outdoors.

At midday, take a well-deserved break at a charming local pub, where you can refuel with hearty Scottish fare before continuing your exploration. With the entire day dedicated to adventure, this is an incredible opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the stunning scenery, all while covering more ground than you ever could on foot. It’s a truly unique and exhilarating way to experience the beauty of Glencoe.

Day 8 - Friday 14th February - South Towards the Capital of Scotland, Edinburgh

This morning, meet your guide and journey south into the heart of Scotland. Your first stop is the iconic Stirling Castle, a towering symbol of Scotland’s storied past and national pride. Perched high above the city, this historic stronghold offers breathtaking views and a chance to delve into its rich history. Take your time exploring its halls and ramparts, gaining a deeper appreciation for its significance in Scotland’s heritage.

From there, continue to Edinburgh, Scotland’s enchanting capital. Your guide will take you to your centrally located hotel before bidding you farewell, leaving you with cherished memories of the Scottish Islands and countryside. Once settled, you can choose to venture out and explore the vibrant city, or simply unwind and savour a peaceful evening at your accommodation.

Day 9 - Saturday 15th February - Exploring Edinburgh

This morning immerse yourselves in the winding cobbled streets of historic Old Town Edinburgh as you enjoy a private walking tour with an expert local guide. Discover the highlights of this unique capital city from the Palace of Holyroodhouse all the way up the ‘Royal Mile’ to the mighty ancient fortress which is Edinburgh Castle itself. Walk the ramparts atop castle rock and hear the tales of the One O’Clock gun and the stories of locals of times past. Your guide will leave you here so that you can spend as much time in the castle as you wish.

You then have a free afternoon to continue explorations at your own pace, pick up souvenirs or relax as you prefer.

Day 10 - Sunday 16th February - Depart
