Number of Travellers: 26
Duration: 3 Days / 2 Nights

Day by Day

Day 1 - Tuesday 10th December - London Explorations

Options for today:

  • Visit Churchill’s War Rooms which is part of the Imperial War Museum and take a tour behind the glass with the curator of the Museum.  Get up close to the chair that the great man sat in as he made life altering decisions that led to the end of the war.  See the scratches made by him as he was thinking and the cold cups of tea that were left when the declaration of the end of the war was made.  Hear stories of the people that lived and breathed for years in these small rooms and how their work here influenced the outcome of one of the darkest times in UK history.
  • Take a private tour of one of the Royal Palaces today with one of their expert guides – from Windsor to Kensington, these incredible buildings have been the homes of many former members of the Royal Family.  See where they used to relax and unwind or host formal dinners on this tour before exploring the gardens at your leisure.

Overnight: London | Browns Hotel
Room Type: 16 x Run of the House Rooms (5 for single occupancy) and 1 x Deluxe Room
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 2 - Wednesday 11th December - Exclusive London

  • Set off to Shakespeares Globe Theatre this morning for a private, pre opening tour of this wonderful building.  From the heavens to the hells, step behind the curtain to discover what makes the theatre tick and how the bards manuscripts are bought to life here on the very same stage that he himself performed on.  Following your tour, meet with the only person in the world who can handle Shakespeare’s first folio and see the pages where the iconic lines from Romeo and Juliet or a Midsummer’s Nights Dream were first inscribed.
  • Enjoy a tour with a difference today as you head to the thriving neighbourhood of Soho to enjoy a foodie tour with a difference.  Sample some of the local dishes as well as some ecclectic tastes as your foodie expert takes your tastebuds on a journey of discovery.  Sample some local drinks and meet the local providers as you wander through the streets enjoying immersing yourselves in the atmosphere of this part of London.
  • Head into the underbelly of London today as you visit some of the dissused tube stations that are dotted across the capital.  Visit areas that are rarely seen by the public apart from on the big screen in James Bond or Thor: The Dark World.  Perhaps visit Churchill’s secret station where he took refuge in the height of the Blitz or perhaps explore the labyrinth of dark and dusty passageways underneath the hustle and bustle of Euston Station.
  • Sit back and relax as you take a trip on a private boat along the River Thames.  See the iconic landmarks from a different perspective as you glide along and under the famous bridges that link the different neighbourhoods of London together.  This experience can also be turned into a final night party with cocktails, canapés and live music / performers should you wish.
