Day 1 - Friday 4th April - Welcome to London

  • On arrival, your guide – who will be with you throughout your stay in London – will meet you at the airport.
  • Travel to Oxford with your guide in private transport.
  • Upon arrival, meet an expert local guide, brimming with fascinating insights about the films and their iconic locations.
    • Explore the hallowed halls of Christ Church College, the inspiration for Hogwarts’ Great Hall, and its stunning staircase, where key scenes were filmed.
    • Visit the Bodleian Library, where the Hogwarts library and infirmary came to life, marvelling at the ancient architecture that sets the perfect backdrop for wizarding lore.
    • Walk through New College Cloisters, a filming location  for several Hogwarts scenes
  • Travel to London to your accommodation

Day 2 - Saturday 5th April - Behind-the-Scenes in London

  • A private walking tour with an expert Harry Potter guide to discover the hidden alleyways and magical gems within London that inspired JK Rowling
    • Including:
      • Platform 9¾ at King’s Cross Station: Take a photo with the trolley halfway through the wall.
      • Leadenhall Market, the inspiration for Diagon Alley, and stop by the entrance to the Leaky Cauldron (42 Bull’s Head Passage).
      • Australia House, the location for Gringotts Wizarding Bank.
      • Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus, where Harry, Ron, and Hermione run through London in Deathly Hallows: Part 1.
  • Private luxury boat tour to see the iconic London locations
    • Including:
      • Millennium Bridge, destroyed by Death Eaters in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
  • Visit to an atmospheric East End pub in Leadenhall Market which draws on similarities to the Leaky Cauldron
    • Semi-private space reserved
    • Illusionist will entertain you, teaching the children magic tricks

PM

  • Private experience at St Paul’s Cathedral, to see the off-limits areas of the cathedral with an expert, adapted to be super engaging for the children, with special focus on the amazing Dean’s Staircase (the Divination Stairwell as featured in the Prisoners of Azkaban)

Day 3 - Sunday 6th April - Harry Potter Warner Bros Studios

  • Your guide will meet you at your hotel and take you to the Harry Potter Warner Bros Studios
    • Step into the Great Hall, a towering replica of Hogwarts’ iconic dining room, complete with floating candles and authentic costumes from the films.
    • Walk through the Forbidden Forest, where Aragog looms and Buckbeak gracefully bows.
    • Explore Platform 9¾, where you can board the Hogwarts Express and recreate the journey to the wizarding school. Wander through Diagon Alley, bustling with storefronts like Ollivanders Wand Shop and Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes. Marvel at the intricate details of the Hogwarts Castle model, a stunning masterpiece used for filming aerial shots. Interactive exhibits let you try your hand at spell-casting, while behind-the-scenes features reveal the secrets of magical creatures, breathtaking special effects, and the artistry of set design. Every corner offers a new discovery, immersing you in the enchanting world of Harry Potter.

Day 4 - Monday 7th April - Welcome to Scotland

  • You will be met by your new guide upon arrival in Inverness – they will be with you for the duration of your stay in Scotland

PM

  • Private RIB ride on Loch Ness – 60-90 minutes depending on availability
  • Travel to your next accommodation in Glencoe

Day 5 - Tuesday 8th April - All Aboard!

  • Board the Jacobite train in Fort William – First Class tickets in a shared compartment
    • The train ride lasts just over 2 hours
    • You will see Loch Sheil from the train
  • Meet your guide in Mallaig

Lunch included with your guide in Mallaig

PM

  • Return to Fort William on the Jacobite – you will have just under 2 hours in Mallaig before the train departs back to Fort William
    • or
  • Return with your driver along the coastal route stopping to explore the beaches and take a closer look at Loch Sheil

 

  • Visit Steall Waterfall – this includes a moderate hike requiring suitable footwear. Round trip is approximately 1 hour 45 minutes

Evening

Day 7 - Thursday 10th April - A Morning of Mystery in Edinburgh

  • A guide will pick you up at your hotel and give you a booklet containing notes left by Nicolas Flamel, following these clues and puzzles given by your tour guide, as you go on a quest around Edinburgh.
  • The tour will involve some history of the city and how it shaped and inspired the Harry Potter books.
  • You will be able to interact with 2 different actors throughout the tour
  • The tour finishes at The Cauldron, Edinburgh for an interactive potion-making workshop
  • Your host guide will remain with you throughout this experience
  • Tour includes key sites:
    • Greyfriars Kirkyard, where gravestones inspired names like Tom Riddle
    • Victoria Street, said to inspire Diagon Alley
    • The Elephant House Café, where J.K. Rowling wrote parts of the Harry Potter series Please note the cafe is no longer open but can be viewed from outside
