Day by Day

Day 1 - Sunday 9th March - Welcome to Scotland

On arrival at the airport you will be met by a private driver who will transfer you out of the city into the Scottish highlands. Sit back and relax as you travel in luxury through the rolling hills of the Scottish countryside towards your accommodation for the next few days. Upon arrival at your accommodation settle in and relax ahead of the adventures beginning tomorrow.

Day 2 - Monday 10th March - The Cairngorms by Train and Scotch Whisky

This morning, step aboard a luxurious steam train and journey through the Cairngorms National Park in style. Enjoy the views of towering mountains and glistening rivers as the train makes it’s way along the tracks. Disembark and meet your guide at the turning point to continue your days adventure.

Next up is the chance to explore a famous Scottish distillery. This tour will give you an insight into how the famous drink is carefully crafted in these impressive locations, taking in a berth of knowledge, before the chance to taste some of the whisky’s for those that wish to.

Day 3 - Tuesday 11th March - Scotland's Famous Loch Ness

Explore by boat today as you head out onto Scotland’s most famous Loch and home to the legendary, mythical creature known as Nessie. You will make your way up the river Ness onto the Loch itself, enabling you to take in the beautiful scenery that frame the Loch. Aboard, learn about the history of the loch, the famous castle ruins of Urquhart Castle, and the story behind the legendary Nessie.

In the afternoon, journey back through Inverness and spend some time exploring the city and it’s highland shops and cafes.

Day 4 - Wednesday 12th March - Castles and the Scottish Capital, Edinburgh

This morning meet your guide and head south. First stop is Stirling Castle. This impressive Castle stands tall above the city, and is steeped in history and legend. Head inside and take a look around, learning about the cultural significance of the location and the connection the Castle has with the people of Scotland as a symbol of national pride.

From here, continue on to Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. Your guide will drop you off at your city centre hotel before bidding their farewells as they depart, leaving you full of memories and experiences that will last a life time. Spend the evening relaxing at your hotel or head out to begin your explorations.

Day 5 - Thursday 13th March - Exploring Edinburgh

This morning immerse yourselves in the winding cobbled streets of historic Old Town Edinburgh as you enjoy a private walking tour with an expert local guide. Discover the highlights of this unique capital city from the Palace of Holyroodhouse all the way up the ‘Royal Mile’ to the mighty ancient fortress which is Edinburgh Castle itself. Walk the ramparts atop castle rock and hear the tales of the One O’Clock gun and the stories of locals of times past. Your guide will leave you here so that you can spend as much time in the castle as you wish.

You then have a free afternoon to continue explorations at your own pace, pick up souvenirs or relax as you prefer.

Day 6 - Friday 14th March - Exploring Edinburgh at Leisure

Today you will get the chance to explore more of Edinburgh at your leisure.

Head out into the city or relax at your hotel, being sure to raise a toast to your time in Scotland, before heading south to London tomorrow.

Day 7 - Saturday 15th March - Welcome to London

This morning, a private car will seamlessly transfer you from your city centre hotel to the train station. Board the train from Edinburgh to London, watching the rolling countryside blur past as the journey unfolds. Arriving at King’s Cross, your private transfer will whisk you to your city centre hotel, where you drop your bags and take a moment to refresh.

The adventure begins at Borough Market, where you meet your private guide and enjoy a haven for food lovers. The aromas of sizzling street food, freshly baked bread, and exotic spices fill the air. Chat with passionate vendors, sample artisanal cheeses, rich chocolates, and sizzling international delights, immersing yourself in the vibrant flavours and stories of London’s iconic food scene.

Head back to your hotel to enjoy a relaxing evening.

Day 8 - Sunday 16th March - The World of Ted Lasso

This morning, meet your local expert guide and head to the Borough of Richmond to step straight into the world of Ted Lasso.

Wander through Richmond Green, where AFC Richmond fans gather, and soak in the picturesque surroundings that set the scene for the beloved show. Stop by the iconic Prince’s Head pub; known as the show’s Crown & Anchor, for a pint and a chat with friendly locals, just as Ted and his crew would. Stroll along the Thames, passing boutique shops and quaint cafés, before heading to the real-life training grounds that inspired the Greyhounds’ journey. Snap a photo at Ted’s apartment doorstep, then perhaps round off your day with a classic English meal at a cosy pub, raising a toast to optimism, football, and believing in yourself, just as Ted would!
