Day by Day

Day 1 - Wednesday 5th November - Welcome to England and the Lake District

On arrival at into the UK, transit smoothly to your awaiting helicopter and head north to the wilds of the Lake District and your base for the next few days.

Your experienced guide will be meet you on arrival at your accommodation and you can get to know each other over some food at a local pub or restaurant. You’ll be able to chat about your upcoming adventures and the activities that have been planned for you.

Day 2 - Thursday 6th November - Trail Running and Water Skiing: A Thrill Seekers Day

This morning, meet your guide in the foyer of your hotel, and be ready to run. You’ll head out into the surrounding hills for a mornings trail adventure. Take on a challenging 12km route that will have you climbing over 500m in elevation allowing you to take in the stunning scenery as you make you way along the track.

In the afternoon, enjoy some time out on the water. Don your wetsuit and head out on 2 ski’s (or 1 if you’re a pro) for a chance to waterski on England’s largest lake! This exhilarating 1 hour experience is will let you enjoy the beautiful surroundings while you fly along the surface of the water.

Day 3 - Friday 7th November - Hit the Course. 18 Holes at Ulverston Golf Club

After a hearty English breakfast, get your gear ready as you head for Ulverston Golf Club. Situated on the coast over looking Morecambe Bay, this 18 hole parkland course offers spectacular views in all directions. Whether it’s out to sea or back towards the fells of the Lake District, every hole has it’s own unique offering to enjoy. Afterwards, enjoy a beer and some food in the clubhouse, reminiscing (hopefully!) on birdies and pars galore!

The evening is yours to play with. Chat with your guide about your options, whether you fancy a late evening hike to catch the sunset, or an evening at a local pub, this area has plenty to offer.

Day 4 - Saturday 8th November - Scafell Pike, England's Tallest Mountain!

Today you tackle England’s highest mountain and a member of the infamous British 3 peaks challenge. Meet your guide and head out along winding roads to the start point of your mammoth day! Your guide will lead you up narrow, challenging paths as you ascend to the highest point in England. Upon reaching the summit take a moment to absorb the stunning landscapes and enjoy a packed lunch, refuelling for the journey back down. On a good day you might even be able to see some of the mountains in neighbouring Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland!

This evening, relax at your accommodation and hear of local legends and history from a local storyteller, before taking some time to reflect on your time in the Lake District.

Day 5 - Sunday 9th November - The Lowlands of Scotland

This morning you’ll transfer to your helicopter and take the short flight to the Lowlands of Scotland and your accommodation near Galloway Forest. Upon arrival at your accommodation what better way to wash off the journey than a wild dip in some of Scotland’s lowland waters. You’ll get the chance to head out with an instructor to enjoy this quite literally breathtaking experience. You’ll be greeted by a warming drink as you exit the water, giving you an exhilarating start to your time in Scotland.

In the evening, chat with your guide about the activities that await over the next few days and what other options may be on offer to you in the area.

Day 6 - Monday 10th November - A Scottish Sea Adventure - Wildlife and Fishing

This morning, jump aboard your fishing boat and venture out into the Scottish sea. Surrounded by stunning back drops you’ll get the chance to reel in some of Scotlands varied aquatic marine life! From catching well known local delicacies, to some much larger sea dwellers. You might even get the chance to encounter Basking Sharks and some playful Dolphins (although these encounters cannot be guaranteed). This is a truly Scottish experience as local experts give you the rundown of the waters and their importance in feeding Scotland!

Day 7 - Tuesday 11th November - The Heights of the South - "The Merrick"

Today, tick off the highest mountain in southern Scotland, The Merrick. This near 15km hike offers those that reach the top stunning views of the surrounding area and all it’s beauty. Upon reaching the top refuel with a packed lunch, before heading back down the mountain.

Upon return from your hike, you will be transferred to your helicopter for your journey to Dornoch.

Day 10 - Friday 14th November - From Golf to the Rugged North Coast

This morning you will transfer via helicopter from Dornoch to your accommodation near Thurso on the north coast of Scotland. Upon arrival at your hotel, you will meet your new experienced guide, who will also act as you driver for your time in Scotland from here. You will have the chance to get to know your guide and find out more about the exciting experiences that await you on this leg of your trip.

Once you are settled in, why not head out for a bike ride to stretch the legs along some of the UK’s national cycle network. Your hotel is situated right on this famous network making it an easy starting point for a thrilling ride.

Day 11 - Saturday 15th November - Tackling the Most Northern Munro. Ben Hope

This morning head out with your guide and bag the most northern Munro in Scotland, Ben Hope. This roughly 8km hike will have you ascending steeply as you climb this isolated mountain in search of yet more amazing views. Once atop, enjoy views out over the sea that extends up towards the Artic and look south for views of lesser mountains and the glens that cut through them!

Enjoy the scenic drive back to your accommodation, and why not stop off at the unspoilt, golden sand beach of Melvich Beach. Looking like a beach that should be part of a Mediterranean island, this stunning locations offers the chance for a peaceful and refreshing dip in the sea. The perfect way to wash away the remnants of ascending a Munro!

Day 12 - Sunday 16th November - A James Braid Inspired Course - Out on the Scottish Links

You will venture back out onto the course today, taking on the northern most links golf course on mainland Britain, Reay Golf Club. This classic Scottish Links course offers views out to the Pentland Firth and the Northern Atlantic waters. Partially designed by the legendary James Braid, it is a course that requires innovation and a real variety of shots to combat the impact weather can have on this exposed coastal golf course.

Afterwards, enjoy a pint and some food at the 19th hole, and reminisce over good shots and holed putts while taking in more of the tranquil surroundings.

Day 13 - Monday 17th November - Hit the Beach and Catch Some Waves

This morning after a leisurely breakfast, met your guide and head for Dunnet Beach, a spectacular 2 mile long golden sand location perfect for your next adventure. Today, along with your guide, experience a 2 hour long private surfing lesson! You’ll learn how to attack the waves and ride them like a pro in this activity not often associated with Scottish waters.

In the afternoon, don your running shoes and kit and head out for a trail run along the rugged north coast of Scotland. Be sure to include some stops along the way to truly take in the breathtaking beauty of this remote part of Scotland.

Day 14 - Tuesday 18th November - Heading South to Highland Perthshire

Today after breakfast, you will once more transfer via helicopter to your destination and the final stop of this epic adventure, highland Perthshire. After a scenic trip passing high above Munro’s and loch’s you will arrive at Fonab Castle and have some time to settle into your accommodation.

This afternoon you will have chance to relax and enjoy your new surroundings. You could take a wander into the charming village of Pitlochry or simply relax at your accommodation ahead of the final legs adventures beginning tomorrow.

Day 15 - Wednesday 19th November - Scotland's 10th Highest Mountain and Some Classic Scottish Whisky

Today after a hearty Scottish breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the hotel and you’ll head for the impressive Ben Lawers. Scotland’s 10th tallest mountain stands out along the stunning loch tay ridge line and this 11km hike actually takes in another of Scotlands Munro’s, Beinn Ghlas, allowing you to ‘bag’ another two of Scotland’s famous Munro’s.

In the evening, why not enjoy a solo, private whisky tasting while you relax at your accommodation, learning about how this famous Scottish drink is crafted, and some of its storied past, followed by an expert led tutored tasting to truly enhance your experience.

Day 16 - Thursday 20th November - Mountain Rides and a Canyoning Experience

This morning, saddle up and head out with your guide to experience some of Perthshire’s best mountain biking trails. You’ll have plenty of options, depending on what sort of experience you are looking for and you will be able to discuss this with your guide to ensure that you get the most out of your days adventure.

In the afternoon, navigate and explore some of Perthshire’s stunning gorges. Experience waterfalls and plunge pools as you make your way down some of the area’s most famous spots. Along side an experienced instructor you’ll tackle waterfall descents, two-tier slides, and some technical cliff jumps. This private experience is sure to satisfy thrill seekers.

Day 17 - Friday 21st November - It's Time to Head Off-Road and Take on Perthshire's Trails

Having been driven around for the last 2 weeks, it’s your turn to get behind the wheel. You will jump into the drivers seat and spend the morning learning the tricks and skills required to navigate these off-road trails. You’ll head back to base for a delicious lunch overlooking the loch, before getting back behind the wheel and heading up hill to put your new skills to the test in some of the hardest terrain on offer in Scotland. You’ll be accompanied by an experienced instructor the whole time to make sure you get the most out of this thrilling experience.

Day 18 - Saturday 22nd November - Private Transfer to Edinburgh and Farewell For Now
