Upon arrival at the airport, you are met by a private driver who transfers you to your city center hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can choose to relax at the hotel or head out to begin exploring this unique city.

Day 3 - Thursday 20^th March - A Day of History

This morning, meet your private driver-guide who will accompany you throughout your journey. Begin your adventure in the Kingdom of Fife, where you’ll step back in time at the secret WWII bunker, uncovering its hidden wartime history. Continue to the historic town of St Andrews, renowned as the “Home of Golf” and one of Scotland’s most charming destinations. Stroll along the legendary Old Course and explore the impressive ruins of St Andrews Cathedral and St Andrews Castle, perched dramatically on the cliffs. Later perhaps take a leisurely walk along West Sands Beach, made famous by Chariots of Fire, or browse the town’s quaint shops and cafés.

This morning head north into the Highlands. Stop to enjoy a walk in the beautiful forests, or take a walk along the riverbanks before enjoying lunch at a local eatery. Later continue to the village of Pitlochry to visit Blair Athol Distillery, one of Scotland’s oldest working distilleries. Enjoy a guided tour, learn about their rich whisky-making heritage, and sample a dram of their signature single malt before continuing your adventure in the Highlands.

Day 6 - Sunday 23^rd March - Discover the Highlands

It is time to explore Blair Castle, home to the same family for over 700 years. This castle is home to the only remaining private army in Europe and boasts an incredible collection of weaponry, offering a fascinating experience to explore. Follow in the family’s footsteps as the castle and immaculate gardens are discovered.

Next, indulge in a delightful chocolate-tasting experience, savoring handcrafted treats made with the finest ingredients. Afterwards step back in time at the Crannog Centre, where you’ll discover the fascinating history of ancient loch dwellings and gain insight into Scotland’s early settlers.

Day 7 - Monday 24^th March - A Day of Tradition & Triumph

Journey to the West Coast to enjoy a special day immersing yourself in true Scottish culture and tradition at the Oban Highland Games. The air is filled with the invigorating sounds of bagpipes and rhythmic pounding of drums, and the lively cheers of the crowd. As you watch the competitors in their kilts, showcasing feats of strength and agility, you become part of a centuries-old spectacle that celebrates heritage and camaraderie. The games are a sensory feast, with the aroma of traditional foods wafting through the air, colourful tartans adding a visual spectacle and the thrill of events like caber tossing and tug-of-war creating an electrifying atmosphere that you can’t help but be mesmerised by.

Day 8 - Tuesday 25^th March - Island Adventures and Coastal Charm

This morning you take a tiny ferry across to the Isle of Kerrera, where you can take your time exploring the whole island. Discover the ruins of Gylen Castle and enjoy amazing views across the sea to the Inner Hebrides before you relax in the welcoming tea room. Returning to the mainland, enjoy some free time in the town of Oban, where you can walk the promenade, or walk up to the unusual monument called ‘McCaig’s Folly’ which dominates the town.
