Originally from Bedfordshire, I’ve always felt a deep connection to the outdoors. I grew up playing every sport possible and camping with family and friends. This love of being outdoors led me to Cumbria for University and a sports degree, and eventually to Canada to teach outdoor education at a summer camp. After many seasons going backwards and forwards, I stayed home and spent a summer season on the Isle of Skye, a decision that made me want to live in Scotland near the mountains and hills. In my spare time, I enjoy anything outdoors, especially getting out for a run!
Anywhere along the Scottish coast with their Bahamas-style beaches! Particularly the less-discovered southern part of Skye, such as Aird of Sleat. After a long hike, a refreshing dip in the ice cold waters is great!
I once competed nationally at synchronised trampolining and came 3rd.
