There is no shortage of exciting places to stay in London however when it comes to luxury British icons, Brown’s Hotel, in Mayfair, is a firm favourite. Located a short walk from Buckingham Palace in central London, Brown’s was the first-ever hotel to open in London in 1837. It has since welcomed distinguished guests such as Rudyard Kipling, President Roosevelt and Agatha Christie. It is here that Alexander Graham Bell placed the first telephone call ever too.

Today the 5 star luxury hotel offers exceptional comfort and style whilst maintaining that warm and friendly customer service its residents have come to know and love. The hotel offers 33 luxury suites and 82 hotel rooms all expertly designed by British interior designer Olga Polizzi and each offers guests both space and charm in abundance. The hotel also boasts one of London’s finest spa complexes which is not to be missed and offers the ultimate way to unwind after time spent travelling.

The concierge team at Brown’s Hotel offer great local knowledge and have access to some wonderful insider experiences across the city available to clients when staying at the hotel. We can connect partners directly or make arrangements with the concierge team directly on your behalf.

Favourites here include a Mini Cooper tour of the city’s most famous historic landmarks as well as uncovering some lesser-known sites and points of interest with an expert local guide; or a floral workshop with in-house florist Ellie Hartley whilst enjoying some of the famous Brown’s Afternoon Tea.

Visit to Buckingham Palace

Given its proximity to the hotel, a visit on foot to the King’s Residence at Buckingham Palace is not to be missed and offers a wonderful insight into the Royal Family and their magnificent London home. Private tours can be arranged on request and if preferred you can even travel by vintage bicycle with a special picnic hamper from the hotel.
