The Broadway Hotel is a charming and characterful, boutique hotel located in the picturesque Cotswolds region of South West England. Famous for its rolling hills, quintessential English villages and bustling market towns, the Cotswolds is a real highlight on any UK itinerary and a stay at The Broadway Hotel matches perfectly with the authenticity and rich cultural heritage of this area.

Like many properties in the region, the hotel itself dates back to the 15th century when it was thought to have been used as a blacksmith’s and bakery before reinventing itself as a hotel in the thirties when it became popular with visitors to Cheltenham Racecourse. Today the 19 bedroom hotel has been tastefully revamped with a large jokey themed bar, cosy lounge and chic brasserie and offers guests style and good value in equal measure combined with a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Accommodation Highlights

  • Relax by the green terrace, a wonderful space to kick back and enjoy a drink with the friendly locals.
  • Enjoy a meal at the in-house AA rosette brasserie, which offers a great relaxed venue and prides itself on a menu that is mostly locally-sourced.
  • The hotel also offers two luxurious holiday cottages in Broadway town centre - a nice option for couples or families looking for their own exclusive space.

Unique Experiences

Hiking the Cotswolds Way

The Cotswolds offers wonderful walking country, so why not head out for a day with your own private walking guide to explore a section of the famous Cotswolds Way. As if walking through time, today we pass Beckbury camp, an Iron Age fort dating back to 2,000 BCE, and later pass the ruins of 13th century Hailes Abbey, before arriving at a 15th-century castle.  Lunch or afternoon tea can be enjoyed along the way in one of the areas many eateries.

Insider's Shakespeare Tour

Take a trip to nearby Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of Shakespeare for a fascinating behind the scenes tour at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre before catching a show to hear the bard’s words come to life.
