Welcome to Ireland’s Southwest

Southwest Ireland is perhaps the country’s most beloved spot for visitors. There’s a good reason for that – it’s got a little bit of everything. From soaring peaks to sweeping valleys, from cheerful towns to national parks, seascapes and islands to windswept coastal vistas, Kerry has plenty to offer. Red deer wander the meadows of Killarney National Park, eagles circle the peaks of Kerry’s mountains, and whales and dolphins swim along its shores in Ireland’s newest national park – and first marine park.

Further south, Cork’s wild peninsulas beckon. From the rugged Caha Mountains to the salty shores, explore some of southwest Ireland’s hidden gems, paired with iconic spots beloved by all.

And where better than to explore this ever-popular and sought-after region than from Sheen Falls Lodge, a 5 star resort just outside of the town of Kenmare? Read below to learn more about this quality accommodation option for your clients visiting southwest Ireland.
